Patterrn handles all communications for the FIA Institute, which is the sister organisation to motor sport’s global governing body, the FIA, growing the influence of the organisation on both a national and international level. We also play an integral part of international event organisation such as medical conferences and sustainability congresses for the FIA Institute, taking responsibility for production and communications throughout. This includes all press releases, news and features on the FIA Institute website and distributing content via its social media channels.
An example of our work with the FIA Institute includes coverage of the Young Driver Excellence Academy, which offers a fully funded training programme that helps drivers develop their motor sport careers, which has been published on major motor sport websites, including AUTOSPORT.com and F1 Racing.
Patterrn also produced a feature on the safety benefits of a jet fighter canopy for potential use in Formula One, which received coverage from media worldwide. The accompanying video of the test received one million views in four days across Vimeo, Youtube and the BBC, and drove significant traffic to the Institute website.
